One month remains..

Drill weekend GO AWAY ...
It is here again & I would be excited if it didn't remind me that I have very little time left here in Phoenix.

My heart is breaking I have one month left at home.

One month left to hold my little girl & give all the love I can to  my sweet man.
 
just ONE month left...

The depression comes and goes ...
 

Anxiety...

Dressing up every day as girly and pretty as can be ... because for 10 weeks, I wont be able to shave, do my hair, look beautiful... It will be just me and my ACU's ,  combat boots, & my beloved sock bun...

Going to the cabin this weekend for my sister's birthday, but while we are there Alex, Ellie, & I are going to take one last family photo that I will have with me at boot camp & AIT

I will miss them so much, I know this to be true because... I haven't even left yet & I find myself already missing them. 

I am not scared of boot camp, I know I will kick some ass & have a  blast... the thing I'm most scared of is leaving my family behind. If there was anything I would seriously ask of you Alex while I am gone, Please write me... every day....Please.
Don't for get to take pictures of my angel every day & capture all her cute moments on film... I don't want to miss out on anything.

Ok I read the most disgusting blog today...
So there I was ripping my Elton John CD to my computer to add it to my Itunes --> then to my Ipod
and I started thinking ... oh yea Elton John has a son! So I googled Elton John to see the cutie little pictures of his son( who is such a little celebrity HAM!) and I came a cross a cute picture that was posted in somone's blog.

This person ... Seriously makes me ill.
His whole entire blog post was so ANTI gay marriage and said the most hateful things about the gay community.
Some Christians are so ignorant ..

Homosexual or straight you should be free to LOVE and MARRY who you please...
This guy or gal was so hateful
Saying gays are an abomination... so on so forth the whole entire nine yards...
Well get this... Christian's who take the bible out of context seriously, don't have a logical thinking pattern.

First of all lets think about the time period when the bible was written... the meanings of words were different back then... so were the day to day living conditions, so on and so forth... to take something that was written so long ago and to seriously manipulate words is beyond me.

Second of all of all aren't Christians supposed to love one another ?Hating the gay community isn't LOVING ONE ANOTHER
Denying them rights ISN'T AN ACT OF LOVE
I doubt God would make someone Gay just so he could say "Oh well too bad your going to hell because I decided to make you this way and damn you"


Oh and when people say gay people are just confused they aren't really gay, this too pisses me off. seriously jackwads ... if your a straight person can you seriously explain why you are attracted to the opposite sex? No you can't you just are.. same for gay people... it's not like they woke up one day thinking .. " well I think I should be physically attracted to someone of the same sex, so i can be ridiculed, discriminated, and hated the rest of my life... "



I love the irony of being a christian ... I seriously do...

So Ellie turned the big ONE on August 3rd & we party hartied on August 6th.

 Her birthday theme was "whooo's turning one!?" all owls of course! & on her birthday Nana Nancy & Papa Don gave her the cutest little chair and owl pillow!

basically my life has been pretty hectic & that means no time to blog about all the good stuff that has recently happened.

• I want to adopt a Chinese crested
• Britney Spears is out of control & absolutely amazing 
• Unpacking is worse then packing
• Go Go China = best  new york style Chinese food ever!
• I love that Ellie LOOOVES Chickpea salad, but I don't love changing 5 poopy diapers the next day.
• Ellie loves to hide in Grandpa's kitchen cabinets & put all her toys in there.
• Ellie is such a ham & loves to color ...  the soldiers down on base loved her so much they gave her some National guard coloring books!!!! 
• My husband is basically the sexiest man alive, yea I said it.... 
• $0.75 pink glitter baby flip flops? THANK YOU TARGET!
• Ellie loves swimming in the tub & turning on the water ... oh lets not forget splashing .
• I have a big zit on my eye brow right now... & it's driving me CRAZY 
• I haven't read my book in 2 days now seriously I need to stop UNPACKING & just read!
• I love shopping at thrift boutiques best buys ever! (seriously if you want vintage clothes and jewelry FOR 2$ AN ITEM go shop at a non profit store called Halo! seriously I must post pictures of my high waisted paints, shorts, leopard print top, sexy new frenchy jewelry && much more I take vintage thrift shopping to a whole knew level!)
• Perfected the skill of pinup hair ! 
• Ellie is banging pots on the floor ... got to love that.
• Vintage, antique shabby chic bedroom LOVIN IT - Totally bought vintage knobs (glass Victorian knobs my favorite! lets not to mention rusty ones!) & decked out my dresser & night stand. 
• Obsessed with gold frames
• Drill this weekend, so excited to kick some ass.

As those days draw closer I am starting to admire all those who have fought before me and  those who will fight after me. I now have a greater respect for life, its too short, & I'm going to savor every last moment I have with my family, you never know when your last will be.

• I have a flossing addiction, I floss a minimum of 3 times a day....and if I see people floss their teeth incorrectly I flip a shit it's so gross.. and if you don't floss at all your disgusting & you should.
• I am a pen kleptomaniac ... I will steal your pens.
• Ellie let me rock her to sleep for the first time in months, I cried. 
• I live at half price books, I should get a weekend job there. 
• I love burlap .

any who now that I'm finished writing down my rambling thoughts & I'm back on track, new home & new beginnings.

I love my family. No matter where we live as long as I'm with them, I'm happy. I'm excited to be some where other then our apartment & I'm looking forward to this new chapter in our lives. I have no clue where its going to take us but I cant wait to find out.

Well I have a couple rules for book buying (otherwise we would be in massive debt and we would have a miniature library in our living room - wait ... we already do?)

I only buy USED books & they have to be under $5.00

Some times that means I have to wait a LONG TIME

and while I wait my list just grows!

My favorite places to book shop:

1. Goodwill on their 50% off Saturdays! (FYI its this Saturday and I already scoped out some books!)

2. Half price books! I bought Bram Stoker's Dracula for $1.00 yesterday .. It was so cheap it felt sinful!

I need to buy a cheap mini book light mine broke! 

Why you ask? So I can snuggle my husband and Read him to sleep!

He hates the lights on at night so that means I cant read in bed, but if I go to the living room to read it's a no go there too because my lover is a snuggler (just like me) & we can't possibly sleep without one another.

Book light , please buy your self & find your way to my house.

I know it's a lot to ask from a book light like yourself, but I'm packing and moving right now and I don't have time to hunt you down myself.

If you do me this one favor I promise to read you many stories and Keep you away from Miss Destructo (Ellie) & change your batteries often.
